Noosa’s Native Plants is a website dedicated to the description of local plants of the Noosa Shire.
Each plant is defined by its scientific name. Photographs are included together with information about common names, aboriginal uses, landscaping uses, and interaction with other species: birds, bees, insects and other fauna..
The site is updated as more information comes to hand. Name changes are noted and more photographs are added. A slideshow of plants flowering, fruiting or currently of interest, is seasonally adjusted.

Caution is urged when plants are used for culinary or medicinal purposes. Some information may be anecdotal and correct identification is essential.
